Bodega La Azul is a family-owned boutique winery nestled in Mendoza’s Uco Valley, at the foot of the Andes in Tupungato. Established in 2003, the winery traces its roots to Francisco Hinojosa, who cultivated the land over 60 years ago. The name "La Azul" originates from a blue card assigned to one of Francisco's daughters when he divided his property among his children. ​

As one of the smallest wineries in the region, La Azul produces approximately 75,000 bottles annually, maintaining full control over every aspect of production—from vineyard cultivation to bottling. The wines are crafted to authentically represent their grape varieties and terroir, with meticulous grape selection by winemaker Flavia Manterola for reds and consultation from oenologist Fabricio Orlando for whites. ​
