Aluvión Vineyards

Aluvión Vineyards was founded in 2007 as a premium boutique wine producer. It originated when two couples - Robert Kramer and Joanna Stevens and Ed Lang and Catherine Balsam-Schwaber - fell in love with both Argentina and its celebrated wine while traveling the country together the year before. They shared a dream to produce small quantities of super-premium, full-bodied, elegant wines that would be savoured for years to come.
After labouring over and perfecting their wine, they released their first vintage - a 2010 Malbec - which was awarded a Silver Medal in the San Francisco International Wine Competition. Through an arrangement with the Vines of Mendoza, Aluvión benefits from the resources and management of some of the most qualified and respected vintners in Argentina, including consulting wine maker Santiago Achával of Achaval- Ferrer, one of the highest regarded winemakers in the world.
