In our travels, our work, and our social life, we’ve found that most Malbec devotees feel the same way – this wine has been there for life's most significant moments. More recently, it became abundantly clear to us that Malbec was not only a huge part of our past, but also our dream for the future. That’s why we created Artisan Malbec. We want to share with our customers the adventure of being a Malbec lover.
This is a wine club that represents not only our experience as professionals with ten years in the industry, but also our love for this iconic and seductive wine, the passion of a trademark personalised service and an attention to detail that we bring to all our endeavours.
Artisan Malbec is the result of a huge networking of Malbec connoisseurs, winemaker’s stories, beautiful Malbec landscapes visited during recent years and the wish to share all this with our members. Unlike many other wine clubs, this space is not just a website to buy wine, but to learn and guide you through the experience of this wine varietal with bonus educational articles, tasting notes, travel ideas, interviews with experts and the best selection of Malbec wines from different regions.

Germán Fumis
Germán holds a wealth of experience in strategic development, project management and operations. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for directing interdisciplinary multinational projects and has achieved outstanding results thanks to his business and financial acumen. He is passionate about Malbec wine, having grown up and lived in the spiritual home of the wine for the majority of his life, and travel around the main wine regions of the varietal to learn and taste some of the best Malbec wines in the world.
Daniela Penno
With 15 years’ experience in the food and wine industry, as well as founder of Sydney-based agency, LATINPR!, Daniela brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Artisan Malbec. She has played a central marketing role at some of Australia’s most well-known food and wine events and tastings. Prior to adopting Australia as her home, she lived in Argentina and worked in the PR and events industry representing some of the biggest global FMCG brands. She has completed a WSET 2 course and International Diploma in Malbec, further solidifying her professional dedication to wine.
